Lunches and dinners are provided by SIAPWS this time.
The meeting will be held at Norsk Energi, whom are already a member of SIAPWS through the
Danish group.

SIAPWS is the Nordic representative of IAPWS, the International Association for the
Properties of Water and Steam. SIAPWS deals with water chemistry and water treatment in
the Nordic energy sector and related industries. SIAPWS is connecting national groups for
exchange of experience in Sweden (Matarvattensektionen), Finland (Vesikemiayhdistys
SIAPWS Suomi ry), and Denmark (SIAPWS‐Danmark).
By reaching out to you, hopefully we can include Norway in the equation.
IAPWS stands for the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam and it
is an international non-profit association of national organizations concerned with the
properties of water and steam, particularly thermophysical properties, cycle chemistry
guidelines, and other aspects of high-temperature steam, water, and aqueous mixtures
relevant to thermal power cycles and other industrial and scientific applications.
SIAPWS provides you with the opportunity to network with fellow colleagues and exchange operational experience and new developments on a Nordic level.
